We are currently seeking a dedicated and service-driven Food Runner to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth dining operations by delivering food orders promptly and accurately, while upholding the highest standards of presentation, sanitation, and guest service. The Food Runner supports both the kitchen and dining staff by facilitating the seamless flow of food and beverages to guests, thereby enhancing the overall dining experience. Attention to detail, speed, reliability, and excellent teamwork are essential traits for success in this position. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or training required
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods in a humid kitchen and dining environment and frequently lift push pull and carry up to 30 plus pounds

Job Duties

  • Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Deliver food orders from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
  • Comply with nutrition sanitation and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the dining area
  • Maintain table settings by delivering courses replenishing utensils and being alert to beverage needs
  • Assist servers and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff regarding order status and guest needs
