The role of Food Runner within Heritage Hotels & Resorts is a vital position that supports the seamless flow of dining operations. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the tables, maintaining exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest service at all times. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will act as a crucial link between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that guests enjoy a smooth and satisfying dining experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training required
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environments
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods in a humid kitchen and dining environment
- Frequently lift push pull and carry up to 30+ pounds

Job Duties
- Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Deliver food orders from kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- Comply with nutrition sanitation and safety standards at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the dining area
- Maintain table settings by delivering courses replenishing utensils and being alert to beverage needs
- Assist servers and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff regarding order status and guest needs
- Support service operations during peak business periods
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards
- Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary client and guest information
- Perform other duties consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property
