The Food and Beverage team at The Phoenician is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join their staff in a full-time, non-management role. This position involves performing a variety of essential duties related to maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of food service areas. Employees will be responsible for closing tasks including storing reusable merchandise, dismantling merchandise displays, cleaning all equipment and areas, securing refrigeration units, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklists. Their role is critical in ensuring that the work environment is safe, sanitary, and well-prepared for daily operations. Maintaining continuous cleanliness throughout the working day by regularly cleaning work areas and inspecting the presentation of porcelain, glassware, and silverware before use are vital responsibilities that contribute to the overall guest experience.

The role also requires strict adherence to company safety policies, reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing required safety training and certifications. The appearance and professionalism of team members are essential, including wearing a clean uniform and presenting a neat personal appearance. Employees must uphold the confidentiality of company property and information while supporting and respecting their coworkers to foster a positive team environment. Physical demands include the ability to move, lift, push, pull, and place items weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance, as well as the capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Additionally, performing tasks such as reaching above and below, bending, twisting, and navigating various surfaces and stairways is expected in this role.

Effective communication skills are necessary to greet guests according to company standards and handle telephone calls professionally. Other reasonable tasks may be assigned by supervisors. While no prior supervisory experience is required, previous work experience in food service environments is preferred. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
