Job Description

Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas in 1975. It has since become a recognized name in the food industry, especially known for its Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, sizzling fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The restaurant prides itself on offering a lively, welcoming atmosphere where quality food and service come together to create memorable dining experiences for all guests. Chili's commitment to hospitality, great food, and community involvement resonates throughout its operations, making it a favorite destination for casual dining nationwide.

This role of Food Runner is integral to the seamless operation of the restaurant's front-of-house team. Food Runners at Chili's are passionate about food, beverages, and people. They act as the critical link between the kitchen and guests, ensuring that every plate and drink is delivered promptly and accurately with a friendly touch. The position offers great opportunities for career advancement, especially for individuals eager to grow quickly into server roles. The environment supports both part-time and full-time schedules, making it flexible for various lifestyles. The company promotes a fun and collaborative team culture where employees are encouraged to show their personality and build genuine connections with guests, enhancing the overall hospitality experience.

As a Food Runner, you will contribute significantly to the restaurant's mission to provide excellent guest service by engaging with customers, maintaining clean and inviting tables, and supporting your teammates in delivering a memorable dining experience. The hiring process is intentionally swift, reflecting Chili's value on enthusiasm and potential over exhaustive prerequisites. Ideal candidates are those who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings and enjoy customizing their interactions to meet each guest's distinct needs. Availability for weekends, weekdays, and holiday shifts is required, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

Overall, working as a Food Runner at Chili's provides an exciting entry point into the restaurant industry with ample growth potential, a supportive and lively work atmosphere, and the chance to be part of a brand that has a longstanding reputation for quality food and exceptional service.
