The company slogan, 'Together We Thrive,' embodies its commitment to quality, value, and exceptional hospitality in every guest interaction and stay.

The Food Runner role at Sonesta is an essential position within the food and beverage department. This position acts as the vital communication bridge between the kitchen team and dining room staff, ensuring that food orders are carried out flawlessly and efficiently. A Food Runner is responsible for verifying that dishes are meticulously prepared according to the restaurant’s quality standards, garnished appropriately, and delivered to guests promptly with professionalism and a friendly demeanor. The role demands a high level of teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to coordinate ticket flow and maintain seamless service in a fast-paced environment.

Announcing dishes clearly at the table and anticipating any guest needs are integral parts of the role to enhance the dining experience. This position requires physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays, along with a flexible schedule that accommodates nights, weekends, and holidays. While prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as Sonesta provides opportunities for motivated individuals to grow and thrive in a supportive and respectful team environment.

This position offers the chance to be part of a distinguished national hotel company that values quality and guest experience. Employees benefit from comprehensive training, career development opportunities, and the pride of working for an award-winning hotel brand that consistently strives for excellence in hospitality service.
