This position offers much more than a typical food runner job. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive a seamless and memorable dining experience. By partnering with servers and kitchen staff, you will help maintain the flow of service and guarantee that every dish served meets the high standards Ruth's Chris is known for. Your attention to detail will ensure each plate is perfectly timed, cooked to the right degree, and presented beautifully. You will assist servers by delivering food to the correct tables accurately and promptly while maintaining a guest-first approach. Job Duties
- track cooking times on all orders
- check finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation
- deliver food to the correct table ensuring accuracy
- support the server as needed to optimize the guest's dining experience
- demonstrate a guest-first mindset with a high priority on guest satisfaction
- coordinate with kitchen and servers to maintain smooth service flow
- assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas
