The Food & Beverage Runner position at Hyatt Vacation Club is a part-time, seasonal role designed for individuals passionate about delivering great guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This role primarily involves assisting the food and beverage team by ensuring the timely delivery of completed food orders to guests and maintaining dining room cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience at Hyatt Vacation Club resorts by providing attentive and prompt service, which helps create lasting vacation memories for guests.

As a Food & Beverage Runner, you will be at the forefront of guest interactions, welcoming and greeting patrons with professionalism and friendliness. You will assist in replenishing dining essentials such as utensils, napkins, and condiments, while also ensuring the dining environment adheres to Hyatt’s high standards for cleanliness and sanitation. The role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues to meet team goals. Due to the nature of the job, working weekends, holidays, and various shifts is a requirement. The position also demands physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting items up to 10 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening if required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver completed food orders to guest tables and or bar
  • Verify guest satisfaction and inquire about additional needs
  • Collect unneeded service ware from guest tables
  • Replenish utensils, napkins, condiments, and other guest or dining room needs
  • Assist in maintaining dining room cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate their needs
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
