The role of a Food Runner at Aramark is an essential position within the kitchen environment.   • Serve food to customers in accordance with designated meal times and operational procedures
  • Proper handling and maintenance of cooking tools, with particular care for sharp utensils
  • Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and ready promptly for service
  • Use garnishes to enhance presentation and appeal of dishes
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety protocols, ensure cleanliness, safe food handling, and proper storage
  • Strictly follow uniform policy and wear required personal protective equipment when necessary
  • Work with manager to ensure accurate menu preparation and coordination each day
  • Ensure all food is stored and served at correct temperatures for safety and quality
  • Keep work and storage areas organized and sanitary at all times
  • Maintain hygiene in all workspaces, including steam tables, counters, and appliances
  • Perform sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing to maintain cleanliness
  • Ensure garbage is properly disposed of and kitchen floors are cleaned and sanitized regularly
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned, including supporting various kitchen sections
