As a Runner, the individual is responsible for delivering food and drinks to customers with accuracy and courtesy, ensuring that portion control and presentation standards meet the restaurant's quality expectations. The role involves active communication with both the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain the flow of service. In addition to running food, the Runner assists in keeping the expo line clean and organized, which is crucial for maintaining food safety and operational efficiency. This role also demands responsiveness to guests’ needs, including answering questions about the menu and resolving any issues promptly to enhance the customer's dining experience. Further responsibilities include managing table settings by clearing used dishes and resetting tables swiftly to prepare for incoming guests, supporting server staff during busy periods, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining area. This position requires standing for extended periods, carrying moderate to heavy loads regularly, and working in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, noise, and humidity. The Runner must display consistent enthusiasm, adaptability, and a commitment to teamwork and maintaining the high standards expected in the hospitality industry. Job Duties
- Runs food to the correct tables with the correct announcement

- Runs drinks from the service bar to the customer if needed
