Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to follow uniform and personal hygiene standards
- must communicate effectively with team members and management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- basic math skills
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- Sets up the front line with the equipment, plate ware and small wares needed to effectively serve all food products
- keeps station restocked throughout the shift
- cleans large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service
- reads order tickets as they arrive and places onto ticket minder
- tracks cooking times on all orders and checks finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance and plate presentation
- coordinates and communicates with the broil and pantry stations to correctly time and serve hot and cold items to the guest
- garnishes finished entrees according to specifications and procedures and immediately trays and delivers food so it is served hot and sizzling
- delivers food to the correct table and pivot point position numbers
- assists the server as necessary to ensure immediate service
- completes all side work assigned and scheduled by management
- works nights, weekends and holidays as required
