Job Description

Sushi Masa Lakeland is a renowned restaurant specializing in authentic Japanese cuisine, famous for its All You Can Eat (AYCE) offerings. Established in 2010, Sushi Masa has built a strong reputation for crafting handmade nigiri, sashimi, and a variety of other delicious dishes that provide a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has expanded its presence with multiple locations including Baton Rouge, Pensacola, Lafayette, Sugar Land, Spring, College Station, and now Lakeland. As part of this growth, Sushi Masa Lakeland is seeking passionate individuals to join their team and become part of the Sushi Masa family. The Food Runner position at Sushi Masa Lakeland plays a crucial role in maintaining the flow of service by efficiently and accurately delivering food orders from the Sushi Bar and kitchen to customers' tables. The role demands excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the Back of House (BOH) team, ensuring that orders are completed correctly and that customers receive their meals promptly. In addition to serving food, the Food Runner is responsible for keeping the expo line clean, organized, and running smoothly. The position offers a starting salary of $11 per hour plus tip share, along with a flexible schedule to accommodate various availability needs.
