Job Description

Ruth's Chris Steak House, founded in 1965, is a renowned upscale restaurant chain famous for its sizzling steaks and exceptional hospitality. With a rich history spanning over five decades, Ruth's Chris has built a strong reputation by focusing not only on delivering perfectly cooked, high-quality steaks but also by fostering an environment that values its team members and their growth. The company prides itself on treating employees like family, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where individuals can be themselves while developing their professional skills. This approach has contributed greatly to the brand's success and the loyalty of its guests.

The company is currently offering an exciting job opportunity that promises a rewarding career path filled with endless growth potential. This role emphasizes collaborative team work, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing exemplary service to guests. Compensation for this position varies depending on location and includes tips, adding an attractive earning component to the base pay. Beyond financial rewards, employees receive an appealing benefits package that includes health insurance eligibility for those working an average of 30 hours per week, a 401(k) plan with a competitive match, dining discounts, and an employee assistance program. These benefits support the overall well-being of staff and encourage long-term commitment.

The role itself centers around the Food Runner position, a crucial link between the kitchen and guests. Food Runners partner closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure that every dish is delivered at the right time, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The position requires vigilance in tracking cooking times, verifying the quality and appearance of finished dishes, and making certain that each guest receives exactly what they ordered. This role places a high priority on the guest experience, requiring a Guest-first mindset and the ability to support servers to optimize dining satisfaction.

Joining Ruth's Chris means becoming part of a well-established culinary tradition and a team focused on legendary hospitality. Employees begin accruing paid sick leave immediately upon hire, earn paid family and medical leave after one year of service, and can participate in a referral program which offers bonuses for recommending new team members. Training and development opportunities are widely available to help individuals build their careers. Working as a Food Runner at Ruth's Chris Steak House is not just a job; it is the chance to be part of a passionate, dedicated team where your efforts contribute directly to creating memorable dining experiences that guests return to time and time again.
