Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop
  • Capable of pushing and pulling
  • Ability to lift overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food service or customer service is advantageous
  • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Transport food orders from kitchen to the correct guest in a timely manner
  • Announce food items to guests with enthusiasm
  • Clean, set and re-set tables continuously
  • Assume responsibility for station, tables and side duties
  • Work collaboratively with team to exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage quality and safety
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with guests and team members
