Job Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to independently lift up to 15 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8 to 10 hours per day
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop
- Capable of pushing and pulling
- Ability to lift overhead
- Must be able to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is advantageous
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Transport food orders from kitchen to the correct guest in a timely manner
- Announce food items to guests with enthusiasm
- Clean, set and re-set tables continuously
- Assume responsibility for station, tables and side duties
- Work collaboratively with team to exceed guest expectations
- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage quality and safety
- Communicate professionally and effectively with guests and team members
