Job Requirements
- ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- commitment to quality service and food knowledge
- knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- basic English language and professional communication skills
- able to lift up to 15 pounds independently
- ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for extended periods
- physical capacity to work 8-10 hours per day
- good hand-eye coordination
- ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, push and pull repeatedly
- ability to climb stairs in multi-level restaurants
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous restaurant or food service experience an asset
- basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- understanding of food safety and sanitation principles
Job Duties
- transport food orders from kitchen to guests in a timely manner
- announce food to guests upon delivery
- clean, set and reset tables continuously
- assume responsibility for assigned station and side duties
- work collaboratively with team to exceed guest expectations
- maintain positive and professional demeanor while working
- adhere to safety and sanitation standards
