The Food Runner plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by acting as the bridge between the kitchen and guests. This role requires maintaining a warm and fun atmosphere for both guests and team members while adhering to the company's sanitation procedures. Food Runners are responsible for restocking and preparing supplies during shift changes or at close, ensuring that food is properly garnished and presented before delivery. Adhering to tray procedures to minimize loss and ensure timely delivery of food is an essential part of the job. The Food Runner must be attentive to guests, making sure they have everything they need by clearing away dishes, refilling beverages, and offering assistance when required. This position demands a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work shifts that may include days, nights, and weekends. Though restaurant or bar experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, making this role accessible to those eager to start a career in the hospitality industry. The physical demands of this job include the ability to stand and walk throughout the entire shift, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and work in a loud, fast-paced environment with many distractions. This is a full-time or part-time employment opportunity with a salary range between $7.20 and $12.00 per hour.
