The Food Runner at Yard House holds a key position in the smooth operation of the daily dining experience. This role acts as the essential link between the culinary team in the Heart of the House and the guests eagerly awaiting their meals. The Food Runner is responsible for maintaining the restaurant's high standards of food quality and ensuring that food is delivered hot and fresh to guests in a timely manner. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation procedures. In addition to technical responsibilities, Food Runners embody the spirit and energy of Yard House by "bringing the vibe," fully engaging with the culture, and contributing to a hospitable and spirited environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Good communication skills

Job Duties
- Deliver food promptly to guests ensuring quality and temperature standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation standards
- Support kitchen and waitstaff by communicating effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food running stations
- Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Uphold Yard House house rules and embody company culture
- Provide exceptional guest service with a positive attitude
