This rich history establishes OFCC as one of the leading clubs not only regionally but nationally, attracting elite golf players and enthusiasts alike.

As a private club, OFCC is dedicated to delivering an extraordinary and unparalleled member experience that fulfills every aspect of its members' needs. The club takes pride in its commitment to service excellence, upscale facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring all that visit or belong to OFCC receive top-tier hospitality. At the heart of this exceptional experience are the club's employees, who serve as the foundation of the club’s success and its ongoing reputation for excellence.

The Food Runner role at Olympia Fields Country Club is a vital position that supports the Sous Chef and the overall operations within the Member Dining Kitchen. This position is integral to maintaining smooth kitchen functions and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food items to members and guests. Typically a fast-paced and dynamic role, it offers individuals the chance to work in a collaborative environment where they can gain valuable skills in hospitality operations, food service, and team coordination.

This role involves assisting with garnishing food orders, delivering prepared dishes to the correct tables efficiently, and preparing ingredients by washing, peeling, and slicing as needed for cooks. Additionally, the Food Runner contributes to kitchen cleanliness and organization by aiding in dishwashing duties when required. The position is ideal for motivated, reliable individuals who enjoy working in a team-oriented setting and are passionate about delivering exceptional service with a positive and professional attitude.

Working at OFCC provides a unique opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while being part of a community that values teamwork and service quality. The Food Runner position is seasonal or partial-year, with flexible shift hours starting as early as 6:00 am and extending to as late as 9:00 pm. Employees should be adaptable to varying schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs and member demand. On occasion, overtime may be required, particularly during heightened member activity, with shifts potentially exceeding 10 hours.

At OFCC, employees are appreciated not only for their work ethic but also for their contributions to the club’s vibrant culture.
