The Food Runner role at Main Event is integral to maintaining the seamless flow of food service operations and enhancing the overall guest experience. Food Runners are responsible for promptly delivering food and beverages to guests while ensuring that each dish looks appetizing and is served at the right temperature. Beyond simply transporting food, they act as ambassadors of fun, greeting guests warmly and contributing to the friendly, energetic atmosphere that Main Event is known for. They also support servers by assisting in pre-bussing and clearing tables, as well as stocking and cleaning service stations to ensure readiness for ongoing service demands. This dynamic role requires working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a guest-focused mindset are essential. Food Runners must be certified in food handling and alcohol service as required by law and be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
