The Food Runner position at Perry's is a critical role that ensures the seamless execution of the dining experience. A Food Runner is entrusted with upholding the restaurant's high standards by ensuring that every guest's experience is pleasant, timely, and efficient. This role requires a professional and welcoming attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues, highlighting the importance of hospitality and teamwork in the dining environment.
The Food Runner's responsibilities are focused on maintaining the flow of service, including removing dirty dishes and utensils between courses and making sure tables are clear, clean, and quickly reset for new guests. The position also involves bringing appropriate entrees tableside, including signature items like Pork Chops, Chateaubriand, and Bone-In Tenderloin Steaks, ensuring presentation and delivery uphold Perry's standards of excellence. Beyond service duties, Food Runners assist the chef team with kitchen maintenance tasks such as replenishing cutlery and crockery and cleaning all surfaces and floors, which ensures the kitchen remains clean and organized throughout service hours.
