The Food Runner position at Perry's plays a vital role in ensuring that every guest’s dining experience is pleasant, timely, and memorable. As a Food Runner, you will be the link between the kitchen and the dining room, facilitating smooth and efficient service. Your role is to maintain the flow of food delivery while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality. You will be responsible for presenting Perry's signature dishes such as Pork Chops, Chateaubriand, and Bone-In Tenderloin Steaks to guests tableside, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to quality and presentation.
Beyond food delivery, the position involves maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas by promptly removing dirty dishes and utensils between courses and ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset efficiently to accommodate new guests. You will also assist the chef team by replenishing cutlery and crockery, and supporting kitchen cleanliness by keeping surfaces and floors spotless. This collaborative approach helps maintain an organized and efficient kitchen and dining environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and carrying
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Guarantee the gastronomic experience of the guest is pleasant timely and pleasant
- Provide a professional and welcoming attitude when interacting with guests and employees
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils between courses
- Make sure tables are clear clean and quickly reset between seats
- Serve appropriate entrees from Perry's including Pork Chops Chateaubriand and Bone-In Tenderloin Steaks tableside for guests
- Assist the chef team with ongoing maintenance of kitchen including replenishing appropriate cutlery and crockery cleaning all surfaces and floors throughout the kitchen
