We are currently seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our culinary team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the dining service, acting as a vital link between the kitchen and guests. The Food Runner will be responsible for delivering prepared dishes promptly to guests, ensuring each order is accurate and meets quality standards as set by the company. Attention to detail and a commitment to guest satisfaction are paramount, as the Food Runner must communicate and execute any special requests or needs effectively. This position requires maintaining the expo station and plate ware supplies, ensuring everything is well-stocked and organized to support efficient service. The ideal candidate will be able to work seamlessly with other team members and management, maintaining a clean and organized work area and assisting with various side tasks to prepare the restaurant for service.

The Food Runner plays a crucial role in providing excellent guest service, as outlined in our comprehensive training manual. Duties include verifying that all items for a table’s order are ready before delivery, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery aligned with proper table and seat numbers, and inspecting dishes to confirm they meet recipe and quality standards. Additional responsibilities involve expediting food from the kitchen efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout the service, and handling any guest complaints or team concerns with professionalism. This is a physically demanding position that requires standing for extended periods and the ability to lift and carry heavy items.
