Job Description

Marriott International is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through its diverse portfolio of brands. Among these brands is the Autograph Collection, a distinguished group of four and five-star independent hotels that deliver unique and memorable experiences tailored to today’s discerning travelers. The Autograph Collection stands out for its emphasis on quality, originality, and bold character, attracting 'The Individualist' traveler who values personal narrative and adventure in each stay. These hotels are carefully selected for their distinctiveness, ensuring they offer experiences that go beyond accommodation to create lasting memories.

The Guest Service Support Expert at Marriott International plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest experience at Autograph Collection properties. This position is about more than just serving food and beverages—it is about creating a holistic customer journey that guests remember fondly long after their visit. Guest Service Support Experts are frontline team members who take initiative to perform a wide range of supportive services that keep food and beverage operations running efficiently and smoothly. Their duties include setting tables, assisting kitchen staff, cleaning work areas, and replenishing supplies. Through their efforts, they help ensure that every service transaction integrates seamlessly into the guest’s experience, making them feel valued and well cared for.

The role demands a high level of professionalism, including adherence to Marriott’s policies and procedures, maintenance of workplace safety, and upholding quality standards consistently. Guest Service Support Experts are expected to maintain a polished appearance and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues alike. Physically, the role requires stamina and mobility, as employees spend much of their time standing, sitting, or walking over various surfaces. They also handle moderate physical activity, such as lifting and moving objects up to specified weights, bending, twisting, and stooping as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Starting this position requires no prior supervisory experience or formal certifications, although a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. While no related work experience is mandatory, previous exposure to the food and beverage industry is considered beneficial. Marriott International values diversity and inclusion highly and is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and ensuring a workplace free from discrimination.

Joining the Autograph Collection team means becoming part of a vibrant, global family dedicated to realizing each individual’s full potential in a supportive environment. With Marriott’s extensive resources and the unique identity of the Autograph Collection, employees have the chance to contribute to an innovative hospitality experience while growing their own career. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of the hospitality industry where passion for service and dedication to excellence are greatly valued.
