Job Requirements

Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
Be able to work positively under pressure in a fast paced time sensitive restaurant environment
Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
Be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
Be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others
Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job descriptions
Must wear clean, restaurant industry specific non-slip shoes
Socks must be worn

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to memorize menu items and table numbers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Basic math skills for order verification

Job Duties

Understand the importance of adhering to high customer service standards
Ensure that orders are complete and food looks appealing before being served to a guest
Ensure that all food is delivered to guests in a timely manner
Maintain excellent knowledge about menu items and ingredients
Maintain knowledge of all table numbers
Ensure that all server stations are cleaned and organized
Perform all opening, running, and closing duties
Carry out other duties as requested by manager
