The Food Runner position is a vital role within the restaurant's operations, acting as a key conduit between the kitchen and the dining area. As a CRCR Ambassador, the Food Runner takes personal ownership of their role, consistently acting in the best interest of the business and striving to enhance every aspect of the guest's dining experience. This full-time or part-time position involves delivering food orders accurately and promptly to guests, coordinating closely with kitchen staff to ensure that every plate meets quality and presentation standards. In addition to food delivery, the Food Runner supports food preparation tasks such as garnishing dishes and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.

The role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong team spirit. Food Runners must be capable of multitasking, managing tray balances efficiently, and working independently while collaborating seamlessly with other team members. Safety and sanitation are priorities, and the role includes responsibilities like monitoring food cooking times, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring proper sanitation of utensils and trays, and assisting with closing procedures. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to attain an online food handler certificate
  • Ability to deliver food accurately and promptly

  • Commitment to safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to attain an Online Food Handler Certificate
  • 1+ years of kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic restaurant service etiquette preferred

Job Duties

  • Deliver food to guests while ensuring they receive the correct order
  • Assist the kitchen and service teams as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests' dining experience
  • Set up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and small wares needed to serve all food products effectively
  • Clean large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service
  • Track cooking times on all orders and check finished products for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation
  • Garnish finished entrees according to house specifications and procedures
  • Accomplish all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift
