Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, quality assurance, or related field preferred
  • Relevant experience may substitute for formal education
  • 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role, preferably with supervision
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations including HACCP, FDA, USDA, GMPs, and allergen controls
  • Prior experience in high-volume or airline catering environments is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA-related systems or tools

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, USDA, GMPs, and allergen controls
  • Prior experience in high-volume or airline catering environments a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA-related systems or tools

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support daily quality assurance operations across production areas
  • Monitor compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, and customer-specific food safety standards
  • Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
  • Lead or assist in internal, customer, and third-party audits
  • ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions
  • Train and mentor staff on food safety protocols, GMPs, and quality procedures
  • Investigate product quality complaints and non-conformances
  • implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, including inspection logs, temperature records, and traceability reports
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Sanitation, Operations) to uphold quality objectives
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and product quality
  • Stay informed about evolving food safety regulations and best practices
