Job Requirements
- ability to work at a fast pace throughout shift
- able to work in cold and wet environment (38-40 degrees) for multiple hours
- wearing personal protective equipment (ppe) while in the warehouse
- able to lift, bend and twist as well as standing on your feet throughout every shift
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food production or manufacturing is an asset
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work in a team environment
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina and ability to work in cold conditions
Job Duties
- working in multiple production positions supporting several departments daily
- ensuring food waste is minimized and food safety guidelines (storing food properly, FIFO) are always applied
- inspecting raw ingredients for quality
- using commercial kitchen equipment to produce products
- removing finished product from the production line and push batches to the next step of the process for packaging
- sanitizing all materials and machinery parts at the end of each shift and clean the workspace at the worker station by following company cleanliness standards
