We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Food Production Manager to lead food preparation and production efforts for high-profile clients within a fast-paced, premium food service environment. This position demands a strong leader with thorough knowledge of culinary operations, food safety, and quality assurance who can maintain the highest standards and deliver outstanding service consistently. The Food Production Manager will oversee procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives to align with Aramark’s national contracts and operational standards.

Key responsibilities include managing supplier partnerships, ensuring contract compliance, monitoring market trends for strategic purchasing, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Culinary, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive procurement performance that supports client satisfaction and financial goals. This role is critical for optimizing cost, maintaining food safety protocols, driving quality control, and facilitating innovation in menu offerings.

The Food Production Manager will also lead and develop the purchasing team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. This position offers a salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans like 401(k), paid time off, parental leave, and disability coverage. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, hospitality, culinary, finance, or related field
  • minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or production management
  • experience in food service, hospitality, contract dining, healthcare, or facilities management preferred
  • demonstrated ability to manage multi-site purchasing operations
  • proficiency in advanced Excel and procurement systems
  • strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • excellent communication and leadership capabilities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with Aramark's sourcing programs
  • drive cost optimization initiatives for food, beverage, equipment, and smallwares
  • monitor market conditions and adjust purchasing strategies
  • ensure adherence to contractual pricing and approved vendors
  • support budgeting and forecasting
  • manage supplier relationships and performance metrics
  • identify and qualify new vendors
  • resolve supply disruptions and implement contingency plans
  • ensure compliance with procurement policies and client contracts
  • maintain food safety and quality standards
  • oversee invoice auditing and purchasing controls
  • partner with Finance to monitor purchasing accuracy
  • collaborate with Culinary and Operations leadership on menu innovation
  • support new concept openings and large-scale events
  • analyze purchasing trends and standardize operations
  • train site leadership on procurement best practices
