Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience
- equivalent of 2-3 years post-high school education or related experience

- commitment to maintaining quality and cost control measures

- comprehensive understanding of food service industry principles and practices
- skilled in team leadership and problem-solving in a kitchen environment
- proficient in communicating clearly through speaking, reading, and writing
Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing kitchen staff
- monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards
- develop menu options and standardize production protocols to guarantee quality
- establish presentation techniques and quality standards, plan and price menus
- maintain and operate kitchen equipment correctly to safeguard performance
- uphold sanitation and safety standards to comply with health regulations
- oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations
- assist in developing junior culinary staff by sharing expertise and techniques
