Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience
  • equivalent of 2-3 years post-high school education or related experience
  • ability to train and manage kitchen staff
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • strong communication skills
  • capability to oversee food preparation and catering services
  • commitment to maintaining quality and cost control measures

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant culinary role
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • comprehensive understanding of food service industry principles and practices
  • skilled in team leadership and problem-solving in a kitchen environment
  • proficient in communicating clearly through speaking, reading, and writing

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise culinary tasks while training and managing kitchen staff
  • monitor daily kitchen operations to facilitate smooth service delivery and uphold quality standards
  • develop menu options and standardize production protocols to guarantee quality
  • establish presentation techniques and quality standards, plan and price menus
  • maintain and operate kitchen equipment correctly to safeguard performance
  • uphold sanitation and safety standards to comply with health regulations
  • oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction or demonstrations
  • assist in developing junior culinary staff by sharing expertise and techniques
