Job Requirements

  • food protection manager certificate or obtain within 90 days
  • bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred
  • minimum 2 years foodservice experience preferred
  • experience with elderly in community or healthcare preferred
  • minimum 1 year foodservice operations leadership experience preferred
  • valid BLS certification or higher required
  • ability to maintain compliance with CACFP and regulatory standards

Job Qualifications

  • food protection manager certificate from an ANSI-accredited training provider meeting ASTM International E2659-09 standard practice or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred depending on site demographics
  • minimum of 2 years foodservice experience in food preparation preferred
  • experience working with elderly populations in community or healthcare settings preferred
  • minimum of 1 year experience leading or managing foodservice operations preferred
  • valid BLS certification or higher as per American Heart Association or American Red Cross guidelines

Job Duties

  • coordinate all food services including breakfast, lunch, home meals, center snacks, and special events
  • oversee daily duties of kitchen staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • manage food receipt, storage, preparation, serving, and disposal
  • maintain records for compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
  • ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidance
  • supervise food safety and quality control measures
  • collaborate with community and healthcare teams for effective service delivery
