Aramark’s service-driven approach emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork, aligning with industry standards and customer expectations in various sectors including education, healthcare, business, and sports and entertainment.
The Food Prep Worker role at Aramark is an essential position within the company’s food service operations, primarily focused on preparing and portioning a variety of food items following standardized recipes and production requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all food items are prepared according to Aramark’s sanitation standards and quality controls. Workers use daily worksheets and standardized recipes to maintain consistency and meet the production demands of the facility. The Food Prep Worker is responsible for strictly following food handling procedures, rotating foods to guarantee top quality and freshness, and properly managing leftover items by covering, labeling, dating, and storing them according to established guidelines.
In addition to food preparation duties, this role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of refrigerators, work areas, and kitchen stations to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
