As a Food Prep Worker at Aramark, you will be an essential part of a dynamic team dedicated to preparing and portioning food items in accordance with production requirements and Aramark's rigorous sanitation standards. This role involves using daily worksheets and standardized recipes to ensure meals are cooked accurately and efficiently. Job Requirements

  • Education level high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one-year experience in prep work or food service
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment as required
  • Good communication skills to read, write, and understand instructions
  • Basic math skills to measure and count ingredients accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year prep work or food service-related work preferred
  • Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others
  • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard Aramark recipes
  • Follows proper food handling procedures
  • Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness
