The Food Prep Worker role at Aramark is designed to assist cooks, chefs, and food service managers by preparing ingredients essential for recipes and carrying out various food preparation and service tasks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food preparation or food service is an asset
  • must be able to attain food safety certification
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • must adhere to Aramark safety policies including proper food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage preferred
  • must be able to obtain required food safety certification
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
