The company proudly owns and operates iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Through its establishments, CEC delivers a delightful blend of food, fun, and play, creating memorable experiences for kids and families across the United States and internationally. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spread over 45 states and 18 countries, CEC’s footprint and influence in the family entertainment and dining space are substantial. Their mission emphasizes creating joyful and lasting memories by providing safe, fun environments where children can truly be themselves. Aside from entertainment, CEC is committed to community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. The company’s commitment to innovation and employee well-being was recognized in 2025 when Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.

The role being recruited at CEC Entertainment focuses on positions within the kitchen, specifically Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles. These positions are crucial in feeding the fun by preparing food orders and supporting kitchen operations. Unlike typical kitchens, this is a no-fry environment focusing on simple preparation of items such as pizza, salads, and wings. These roles are suitable for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build an exciting career. The company fosters an inclusive and fun workplace, where over 60% of managerial staff were promoted internally, highlighting strong growth opportunities within the organization. CEC offers competitive pay with commission potentials, including payments ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and smaller commissions for Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly unless otherwise required by law. An innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck schedule. Employees also benefit from flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, referral bonuses, and numerous perks.

To perform these essential roles in food preparation, candidates must be at least 16 years of age (subject to local restrictions) and possess energetic, enthusiastic personalities with strong customer service skills. The role demands physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. Additionally, employees must be able to work in a dynamic environment characterized by flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Safety and health are top priorities; the company maintains rigorous sanitation protocols to protect team members and guests alike. CEC Entertainment is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, welcoming candidates from all backgrounds and identities. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working in a lively, family-friendly environment that values growth, teamwork, and community impact.
