Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, bringing joy and memorable experiences to families across the United States and beyond. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment where kids and families can eat, play, and celebrate. The brand is lauded for its commitment to safety through initiatives like the Kid Check program, and it has demonstrated significant community support by donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recently, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025, reflecting its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.
CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of inclusivity, fun, and career growth. The company is passionate about building careers around great food, family, and fun, making it an outstanding place for first-time job seekers or those looking to advance their professional journey within the entertainment and hospitality industry. The organizational culture encourages employees—referred to as Cast Members—to excel by cross-training in multiple roles and avenues of service. Over 60% of management positions are filled by promoting from within, showcasing strong support for career development and advancement.
The current hiring focus is on Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions, where team members help feed the fun by preparing orders and assisting with kitchen tasks in a no-fry environment. Responsibilities include prepping pizzas, salads, wings, and other menu items, contributing to the smooth operation of a vibrant and family-centric atmosphere. This role offers competitive pay and an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages immediately rather than waiting for the traditional bi-weekly pay cycle. Additional benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, an employee referral program, and assistance through the CEC Cares Fund for employees facing hardships.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker role requires energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates must be available for various shifts and able to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and other movements essential to a fast-paced kitchen environment. Moreover, the role demands resilience to job stress and the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members amid an environment with flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noises. CEC is committed to the safety and health of employees and guests alike, upholding rigorous sanitation standards and offering reasonable accommodations to ensure inclusive work environments.
This opportunity at Chuck E. Cheese combines the appeal of a vibrant, family-oriented workplace with robust career growth and benefits, making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking a fulfilling role within a dynamic company. CEC Entertainment’s dedication to diversity and equal opportunity reinforces a welcoming atmosphere that values every employee's background and perspective, ensuring that the workplace truly reflects the communities it serves.
