Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, offering fun-filled experiences that combine great food, engaging entertainment, and memorable moments for kids and families. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, emphasizing the company’s commitment to creating joyful, lasting memories. Through its dedication to safety and community support, CEC Entertainment has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits and has earned accolades such as the “Best in STEM” award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun that resonates with the diverse guests it serves worldwide. Their mission is to maintain a safe, entertaining, and friendly environment where guests of all ages feel welcome and children can truly be themselves. The family-friendly atmosphere is supported by innovative safety programs like Kid Check, which ensures peace of mind for parents while their children enjoy the games and attractions available. The company’s commitment to employee well-being, growth, and career advancement makes it an exceptional place to work, with more than 60% of managers promoted from within.
The role currently open is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese, which is ideal for those looking for their first job or seeking to build a career in the food service and entertainment industry. This position is vital as kitchen prep and pizza makers help feed the fun by carefully preparing orders and assisting with food prep in a no-fry kitchen environment. Team members will work with pizza, salads, wings, and other menu items in a clean, fast-paced kitchen, rooted in safety and health standards that meet or exceed local regulations. This role offers substantial commission earnings based on memberships and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly, along with competitive base pay.
Employees benefit from the innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, allowing them faster access to earned wages rather than waiting for traditional pay cycles. The job also features flexible schedules to accommodate different lifestyles, a 50% employee meal discount during shifts, scholarship opportunities, employee referral programs, and company initiatives such as the CEC Cares Fund to support employees in times of personal hardship. The working environment involves some physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds and engaging in tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts.
CEC Entertainment values customer service excellence, an energetic and enthusiastic personality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented work space. The hiring process strictly adheres to equal opportunity policies, ensuring no discrimination based on a broad range of protected classes. For candidates seeking a rewarding job with a company committed to career development, diversity, safety, and fun, this role provides an excellent platform to grow professionally while contributing to a beloved brand bringing joy to families across the globe.
