The role currently open at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers. This position involves preparing orders and assisting with food prep in a no-fry kitchen environment focusing on pizzas, salads, and wings. The role requires an energetic and enthusiastic personality to engage with guests and co-workers effectively. It is physically demanding, with the expectation to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform various physical activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment may include flashing lights, mechanical noises, and fast-paced activity. CEC prioritizes health and sanitation standards rigorously to protect both employees and guests.

Compensation for exempt employees includes commission potential ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, with payments made bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise. For non-exempt employees, commissions range from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, also paid bi-weekly. Additionally, CEC offers the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, ensuring employees do not have to wait for their paychecks. Other perks include flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, employee referral programs, the CEC Cares Fund to assist during catastrophes, and various perks and discounts programs.
