With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is a major player in the family entertainment and dining industry. The company is well known for its commitment to creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can celebrate over half a million birthdays annually, enjoy quality food, and participate in a variety of entertaining play experiences aimed at fostering physical wellness and motor skill development.
CEC Entertainment stands out as an employer by embracing a culture of diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being, which is evident through various accolades such as being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces and receiving the "Best in STEM" award in 2025. Their dedication to safety is also demonstrated through programs like Kid Check® and substantial community support, including more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. The company fosters career growth and promotes leadership from within, with over 60% of its managers having been promoted internally.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles at Chuck E. Cheese exemplify the company's commitment to excellence in service and food quality. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a thriving career in the food and entertainment sector. Food Prep and Pizza Makers play a crucial role in supporting the brand's promise by efficiently preparing orders such as pizzas, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. The tasks involve straightforward food prep with a focus on freshness and safety, ensuring that guests receive the best product every time they visit.
These roles offer more than just competitive pay; they come with several unique benefits such as the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program which provides immediate access to earned wages, flexible scheduling to accommodate different needs, and a 50% discount on meals during shifts. Employees also have opportunities for scholarships, work perks, and participate in referral programs as well as support through the CEC Cares Fund, which offers assistance during times of hardship.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means being part of a team empowered to deliver exceptional service through cross-training across various positions, enhancing both personal skills and teamwork. The role requires physical ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and adapt to the lively and sometimes intense work environment that includes flashing lights and loud noises. The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, underscoring its inclusive workplace culture.
CEC Entertainment's values emphasize safety, health, diversity, and a genuine passion for creating a place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." Employees are encouraged to bring energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills to their work, supporting the creation of fun, family-friendly experiences that keep guests coming back. This position offers a unique blend of food preparation with the vibrant atmosphere of family entertainment, making it a rewarding opportunity for anyone interested in hospitality and guest service roles.
