Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a distinguished leader in the family dining and entertainment industry. Renowned for its iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a premier destination where families and children can experience memorable moments filled with fun, food, and play. Operating nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company is deeply committed to creating welcoming environments that celebrate diversity and foster community connections. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese received notable accolades such as the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.
The organization’s mission revolves around being "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," focusing on safety, joy, and lasting memories. It operates with advanced safety protocols like Kid Check® and has contributed over $24 million in donations to schools and nonprofits, demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility and community support. Peter Piper Pizza adds to this ethos by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience that blends quality food with engaging entertainment, embracing the motto "The Fun is Baked In." This approach not only cultivates physical wellness and motor skill development in children through various attractions but also strengthens family bonds through shared experiences.
CEC Entertainment is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the roles of Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers. These positions play a vital role in maintaining the high-quality food standards and dynamic atmosphere that guests have come to expect. The kitchen environment at Chuck E. Cheese is a no-fry kitchen, focusing on the preparation of pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring easy food prep that aligns with modern health and safety standards. New hires gain access to cross-training across various operational roles, empowering them to provide excellent customer service and career growth opportunities. Over 60% of current managers have been promoted from within, highlighting the company’s focus on internal advancement and professional development.
Employment types include exempt and non-exempt roles, both offering commission potentials that reward sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid out bi-weekly according to state law. A standout benefit across all roles is the innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, which allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for traditional payday cycles. This flexibility is complemented by competitive pay, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, and various employee perks and discounts.
Candidates for these roles must be at least 16 years old (subject to local regulations), possess excellent customer service skills, and bring an energetic and enthusiastic personality to the workplace. Roles require physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks that involve standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Candidates must also effectively handle job stress and maintain positive interactions with both guests and coworkers despite a dynamic work environment characterized by loud noises, flickering lights, and moving mechanical parts.
CEC Entertainment prioritizes health and safety with rigorous sanitation standards that meet or exceed local regulations, creating a safe environment for both employees and guests. The company values diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics under federal, state, or local laws. Reasonable accommodations are made to support individuals with disabilities in fulfilling essential job functions.
Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a vibrant, family-oriented company that values growth, community, and fun. Whether you are a first-time job seeker or looking to build a lasting career, Chuck E. Cheese offers a supportive culture filled with development opportunities and a chance to be part of a brand that has delighted millions of children and families worldwide.
