Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Renowned for creating joyful and lasting memories, Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, committing to a mission built around fun, food, and play for kids and families. The company excels in safety initiatives, including programs like Kid Check, and invests significantly in community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese won the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, showcasing its leadership in innovation and employee welfare.
Peter Piper Pizza provides a neighborhood pizzeria experience focusing on quality food and engaging entertainment, where fun is part of the “baked in” experience. Both brands emphasize the importance of play, supporting physical wellness and motor skills development in children. CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. The company truly values fun and play as a way to bring families together and enhance community bonds.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within their kitchen teams. These roles focus on preparing orders efficiently and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment that includes pizza, salads, and wings preparation. The positions offer an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those seeking to build a career in hospitality and entertainment, as over 60% of managers are promoted from within, showing strong internal growth potential.
The company offers competitive pay, including flexible commission structures for different employment types, where employees can earn extra through membership and fun pass sales, paid out bi-weekly. An exciting feature is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages promptly, eliminating the wait between paychecks. Additional benefits include a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees during personal catastrophes.
The job also requires physical activity and the ability to manage job stress while interacting effectively with guests and co-workers in a lively environment featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. The company is committed to maintaining high health and safety standards, accommodating employees with disabilities, and ensuring a safe workplace. Embracing diversity, CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer that respects and promotes the inclusion of individuals from all backgrounds and identities.
