CEC Entertainment fosters a vibrant culture with a workforce reflective of diverse backgrounds and experiences, supporting an inclusive environment that champions fun and togetherness in every family it serves. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues, emphasizing community connection through physical wellness and motor skills development activities for children.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles at Chuck E. Cheese are vital in ensuring that guests enjoy high-quality meals while having a fun experience. These positions focus on preparing orders and assisting with kitchen duties in a no-fry environment, preparing foods such as pizzas, salads, and wings with ease. Successful candidates will be part of a team that values enthusiasm, excellent customer service, and collaboration.
Chuck E. Cheese offers competitive pay ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour, along with commission opportunities varying based on employment type, including bonuses for memberships sold and Fun Passes. The company also has embraced a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees access to earned wages immediately instead of waiting for the traditional bi-weekly paycheck cycle.
Employees at CEC Entertainment enjoy flexible work schedules, scholarship opportunities, perks and discounts programs, and an employee referral program, among other benefits. The organization also supports employees through its CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during catastrophes, reflecting an employer deeply committed to the welfare of its team members.
As part of Chuck E. Cheese’s workforce, employees are expected to meet physical requirements such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds and handling the physical aspects of working in a dynamic kitchen environment. Team members should be prepared to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, all typical of a lively entertainment venue.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in embracing diversity. The company prohibits discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class. Employment is subject to successful completion of a background check according to company policies and in line with applicable laws. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
Overall, a career at Chuck E. Cheese offers both entry-level job seekers and experienced workers a rewarding environment to build a career, grow professionally through cross-training and internal promotion, and contribute to a brand that delivers memorable family experiences every day.
