Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories for families and children by combining food, fun, and play. Celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, the company has established itself as a safe, fun, and engaging destination where kids can enjoy a vibrant environment tailored to their needs and families can share quality time together. Through programs like Kid Check® and community support initiatives, including donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits, CEC demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and giving back to the communities it serves.
As a company focused on safety, innovation, and employee wellbeing, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces. The brand emphasizes diversity, inclusion, and a culture that celebrates fun and play, ensuring that every guest and employee feels valued and supported. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, designed to foster teamwork and personal growth.
This job opening is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers positions within Chuck E. Cheese. These roles are essential to delivering the highest quality food while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Food Prep and Pizza Makers are responsible for preparing orders, assisting with food prep, and ensuring that all meals meet CEC’s strict safety and sanitation standards. The kitchen is a no-fry environment, focusing on pizza, salads, and wings, making it a great opportunity for those seeking to build a career in kitchen operations without the complexity of deep-frying techniques.
The position offers both exempt and non-exempt employment options with competitive commission structures tied to memberships and Fun Pass sales, providing employees with opportunities to increase their earnings based on performance. Additionally, the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows payment access to earned wages without having to wait for the regular paycheck schedule, providing financial flexibility for employees.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career within a supportive company that promotes internal growth, as over 60 percent of their managers were promoted from within. Employees enjoy flexible schedules, a welcoming and energetic work environment, and the chance to develop valuable customer service and teamwork skills. Furthermore, the role requires physical activity, such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and walking during shifts, making it suited for energetic individuals who thrive in active work settings.
In summary, CEC Entertainment offers a career opportunity where employees not only prepare delicious food but also contribute to a family-friendly, fun atmosphere that touches millions of lives every year. With numerous benefits, scholarships, discounts, and employee assistance programs, working for Chuck E. Cheese is not just a job—it’s a path to growth, community impact, and rewarding experiences.
