Now hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions at Chuck E. Cheese, a fantastic place for both first-time job seekers and those looking to build a rewarding career. This role is vital in helping to feed the fun by preparing orders such as pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment, which makes the food preparation process easier and healthier. Over 60% of managers at CEC Entertainment have been promoted from within, showcasing the company's dedication to career advancement and internal development.
The Food Prep and Pizza Maker position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $8.00 to $12.50, with additional commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. For exempt employees, commissions range from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn between $2.00 and $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Chuck E. Cheese also offers an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages before the typical payday, helping to provide financial flexibility. Other appealing benefits include flexible schedules, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, employee referral programs, and a CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during catastrophes.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds and perform activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during scheduled shifts. The work environment involves flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, all of which are considered essential aspects of the job. The company values safety and health highly, maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect both employees and guests. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.
