Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories for families and communities through food, play, and fun. The company celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, championing safety programs like Kid Check and contributing more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, CEC Entertainment received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.

The role being offered is within Chuck E. Cheese's kitchen team, specifically as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in the food and entertainment industry. Employees, called Cast Members, receive extensive cross-training in various roles, empowering them to provide exceptional service. Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers contribute to the fun atmosphere by preparing food orders efficiently in a no-fry kitchen, focusing on easy prep items like pizza, salads, and wings. This role requires individuals who are enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.

This position offers competitive hourly pay, ranging from $17.13 to $18.13, with additional commission potential that varies based on membership and Fun Pass sales. The pay structure includes a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees faster access to their earned wages. Benefits extend beyond pay, featuring 50% discounts on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund to support employees during catastrophes.

The work environment involves physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Employees will experience flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, necessitating the ability to handle job stress and work effectively with guests and team members.

CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment where employees can thrive regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristics. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company provides reasonable accommodations to ensure all individuals can perform essential job functions safely and successfully. The organization also offers comprehensive benefits packages including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible employees.

The company emphasizes career growth, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. Employees at all levels are supported by various voluntary benefits such as accident and critical illness insurance, employee assistance programs, legal plans, and more. Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave pay are available according to employment status and location. Chuck E. Cheese is proud to provide a welcoming workplace culture that champions fun, safety, and community engagement, aligning with its mission to be the best place for kids and families to eat and play.
