Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is committed to uniting families through food, fun, and play. The brand is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories, annually celebrating over half a million birthdays.
Chuck E. Cheese is renowned as a place where kids can be kids, offering engaging entertainment alongside delicious food. The company emphasizes safety and community support through initiatives such as Kid Check and has donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese received national recognition by winning the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its innovative approach and focus on employee well-being. Similarly, Peter Piper Pizza offers a warm neighborhood pizzeria experience where families can enjoy quality food and entertainment with the promise that "The Fun is Baked In." Through its attractions, the company supports physical wellness and motor skill development for children of all ages.
CEC Entertainment is proud of its inclusive and diverse workforce culture, promoting equity and celebrating the unique backgrounds and perspectives of its employees. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and adheres to strict non-discrimination policies.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles at Chuck E. Cheese are vital in supporting the mission to "feed the fun." These kitchen positions involve preparing menu items such as pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. Employees in these roles are crucial in maintaining food quality, hygiene, and safety standards while working in a lively and sometimes fast-paced setting. The positions are suitable for first-time job seekers as well as individuals looking to build an exciting career in the food and entertainment industry. Cross-training opportunities allow Cast Members to gain experience in various functions, fostering internal growth with over 60% of managers promoted from within.
The roles offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay, featuring unique commission structures: exempt employees can earn from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees earn commissions ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, all paid bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise. In addition, the company offers an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees access to earned wages on demand, providing financial flexibility. Benefits also include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, scholarships, perks and discounts, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund which supports employees during personal catastrophes.
Working as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and moving throughout the shift. The work environment features elements like flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and noise typical of entertainment venues. Safety and health are top priorities, with rigorous health and sanitation standards designed to exceed local requirements. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions, highlighting the company’s dedication to accessible employment opportunities.
