These brands are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment for families, with a strong emphasis on creating joyful memories through food, play, and celebration. Chuck E. Cheese, in particular, is celebrated for hosting over half a million birthday parties annually, making it a staple destination for family fun across multiple generations. The company also supports communities through initiatives such as Kid Check® for safety and by donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized for its innovation and commitment to employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.
CEC Entertainment prides itself not only on its entertaining offerings but also on fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the organization thrives on championing play and physical wellness for kids through engaging attractions. This strong presence allows team members numerous opportunities for career growth and advancement, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. The company’s unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program exemplifies its innovative approach to employee compensation and support.
The role currently open is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within Chuck E. Cheese kitchens. These positions are ideal for first-time job seekers or those aspiring to build a dynamic career in food service and hospitality. This role is stationed in a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on the preparation of pizza, salads, and wings through easy prep tasks. Employees in this role contribute directly to the fun experience by ensuring food is prepared with care and efficiency. It requires energy, enthusiasm, and a strong customer service orientation to meet the brand’s high standards of guest satisfaction.
Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with commission structures that vary based on employment status, including potential commissions on membership and Fun Pass sales. Employees enjoy flexible schedules and an array of benefits such as a 50% discount on meals during shifts, access to scholarships, and participation in the Employee Referral Program and CEC Cares Fund. The company also offers comprehensive benefits packages to both full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, employee assistance programs, pet insurance, and opportunities for continued education through Google Career Certificates.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means joining a team that values safety, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. The environment may include exposure to flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring physical stamina and the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues. This position is more than just a job – it’s a chance to be part of a nationally recognized brand that truly puts family and fun at its core, while offering meaningful career development opportunities and excellent employee support.
