Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC (CEC) is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to providing joyful, lasting memories for families through delicious food, engaging entertainment, and safe, playful environments. The company orchestrates over half a million birthday celebrations annually, solidifying its position as the ultimate destination where kids and families come together to eat, play, and create unforgettable experiences. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun, ensuring every family finds an inviting place to enjoy quality time together.

The role being offered is within Chuck E. Cheese’s kitchen team, focusing on food preparation and pizza making. This position is tailored for individuals seeking either their first job or an opportunity to build a rewarding career in a dynamic, family-oriented environment. The kitchen prep and pizza maker role centers on preparing food orders efficiently and assisting with various food preparation duties. Candidates will work in a no-fry kitchen environment where the preparation revolves around pizzas, salads, and wings, promoting healthier cooking practices. This role is intrinsic to delivering the 'fun' experience Chuck E. Cheese is known for by ensuring that the food served is fresh, well-prepared, and complements the vibrant atmosphere of fun and play.

Chuck E. Cheese empowers its cast members through cross-training across multiple roles, encouraging versatility and professional growth within the company. More than 60% of managers are promoted from within, highlighting the company’s commitment to career advancement and internal development. The kitchen position offers competitive pay and unique incentives such as commissions for memberships and fun pass sales, paid bi-weekly unless state law mandates otherwise. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese provides innovative payroll solutions with its 'Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow' program, enabling employees to access earned wages promptly instead of waiting for traditional pay cycles.

This job includes benefits like flexible scheduling, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, employee referral programs, and a variety of perks and discounts. The company also supports employees facing hardships through its CEC Cares Fund. The work environment involves physical tasks such as lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds and requires employees to stand, bend, kneel, and move frequently during shifts. Despite these demands, Chuck E. Cheese prioritizes the health and safety of both guests and employees with rigorous sanitation standards and operational protocols designed to exceed local health requirements.

CEC Entertainment prides itself on creating an inclusive workplace. It is an Equal Opportunity Employer that embraces diversity and prohibits discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, and other protected categories. Through programs like Kid Check and community outreach initiatives, the company not only entertains but also assures safety and community support. Recognized for innovation and employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

Working at Chuck E. Cheese means joining a passionate team dedicated to the fun and safety of every guest while enjoying opportunities for personal and professional growth. This kitchen prep and pizza maker role offers an exciting entry point into a promising career path within a major entertainment and dining corporation committed to family, food, and fun.
