Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company operates several well-known brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, proudly catering to families and kids with joyous experiences that combine food, fun, and play. CEC Entertainment celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, making it a landmark destination dedicated to creating memorable and joyful moments for families. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company fosters a vibrant, inclusive culture centered on diversity and community engagement. Their commitment to safety is demonstrated through initiatives like Kid Check and extensive donations to schools and nonprofits exceeding $24 million. They continuously strive to innovate and enhance their guests' experience, earning honors such as the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

CEC Entertainment is currently hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within their kitchen teams. These roles are essential in maintaining the brand's high standards for quality and safety in food preparation. The kitchen environment is designed to be a no-fry kitchen, featuring easy prep work focused on pizzas, salads, and wings, which aligns with a healthier food preparation approach. This is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career in hospitality and entertainment. Chuck E. Cheese empowers its team members through cross-training in various positions, fostering growth and career advancement. Over 60% of the managers have been promoted from within, illustrating a strong culture of internal development.

Compensation for these roles ranges from $11.14 to $13.42 per hour, with additional commission potential varying by employment classification, paid out bi-weekly. Non-exempt employees can earn commissions from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership sold and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass sold, while exempt employees have different commission tiers starting as low as $0.50 per membership. An attractive aspect of working for CEC Entertainment is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for the standard pay cycle, supporting financial flexibility. The work environment includes exposure to flashing and flickering lights, mechanical movements, and loud noises, requiring physical activity such as lifting items up to 50 pounds and performing various physical tasks throughout the shift.

Working at CEC Entertainment means joining a company that deeply values its employees' well-being, offering competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a range of benefits such as scholarships, discounts, and an employee referral program. Their CEC Cares Fund further supports employees facing unexpected hardships, and the company maintains rigorous health and sanitation protocols to ensure safety for both guests and employees. The company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures a welcoming and respectful workplace for all team members. By joining CEC Entertainment, candidates become part of a dynamic and engaging brand that not only prioritizes family and fun but also fosters career growth and job satisfaction in a supportive environment.
