The company celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is dedicated to providing safe and engaging environments for families and kids. The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker role at Chuck E. Cheese offers a dynamic and supportive environment perfect for first-time job seekers and those looking to build a long-term career in the food and entertainment industry. This position involves assisting with food preparation, focusing on easy prep methods for pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen. Employees in this role are empowered through comprehensive cross-training across various positions to deliver outstanding guest service. The company fosters growth by promoting from within, with over 60% of managers rising through internal advancement. Compensation includes a commission structure with potential earnings from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly, along with competitive base pay.

Employees benefit from the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional pay cycle. The position offers flexible schedules to accommodate diverse lifestyles and includes perks such as a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarship opportunities, referral bonuses, and participation in the CEC Cares Fund, which provides support during emergencies. This role demands physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and move continuously during shifts. A vibrant, energetic personality and excellent customer service skills are essential to thrive in the lively, sensory-rich work environment characterized by flashing lights, mechanical activity, and loud sounds.

CEC Entertainment promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, reflecting the varied experiences of the families they serve. The company ensures equal opportunity for all employees and applicants, actively discouraging discrimination based on race, gender, orientation, disability, or any protected class. With rigorous health and sanitation standards in place, the company prioritizes the safety and well-being of its guests and employees alike.
