Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, stands as a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. Proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a champion of fun, food, and family. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays each year, creating joyful and lasting memories through an engaging combination of food, entertainment, and play. This company is deeply committed to safety and community support initiatives, including programs like Kid Check® and significant charitable contributions exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, CEC Entertainment was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, reflecting its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this portfolio by offering a warm neighborhood pizzeria experience filled with quality food and entertainment that fosters lifelong memories. Both brands emphasize the importance of play in children’s development, supporting physical wellness and motor skills through diverse attractions. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment exemplifies a welcoming culture grounded in diversity, inclusion, and the belief that fun unites families.
Now hiring at Chuck E. Cheese, CEC Entertainment is seeking Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers to join their dynamic kitchen teams. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone eager to build an exciting career in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. Employees, known as Cast Members, are empowered through cross-training across multiple positions, ensuring varied experiences and personal growth opportunities. Over 60% of the company’s managers have been promoted from within, demonstrating a strong commitment to career development.
Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers play a crucial role in "feeding the fun" by preparing food orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment. Responsibilities include prep work for pizzas, salads, and wings, emphasizing ease and efficiency. Beyond excellent customer service skills, these roles require energetic and enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a lively, sometimes noisy kitchen setting.
CEC Entertainment offers competitive pay and a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that provides employees access to earned wages immediately rather than waiting for scheduled paychecks. Benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible work schedules to accommodate various needs, scholarships, perks and discount programs, an employee referral program, and a CEC Cares Fund that supports employees during emergencies. Safety and health are paramount, with rigorous sanitation protocols and accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means joining a team dedicated to creating extraordinary experiences where kids and families can enjoy food and play in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The company fosters a diverse, inclusive culture reflective of the many guests it serves, with an equal opportunity employment policy ensuring fairness and respect for all individuals. This role promises not just a job, but a pathway to a meaningful career enriched by community, innovation, and fun.
