Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or culinary environment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including morning day evening and night shifts
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to participate in catering events and additional responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications
- Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations is essential
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food safety regulations are required
Job Duties
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations
- As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, preparing ingredients and assisting in the creation of delicious meals for our guests
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards
- Follow recipes and cooking instructions to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal setup and serving
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain quality and safety standards
- 8 hour shift
